I tried to learn about one different kind of art or craft a week over the course of the quarter. I would do some research about an aspect of the topic and then I would try to make that art or craft. I did things like painting, drawing, crochet, sewing, and embroidery.

This is my presentation for my Environmental Impact Project. I wanted to share about why and how our planet is warming and what we as a community can do to help.

I made several projects in the shop. My best work this year was my treasure chest and the chessboard which I use for chess club.

I wrote a paper about the history and evolution of human rights. It starts with the Magna Carta and goes until now. I chose to do this project for many reasons, mainly because I want to pursue a career in human rights in the future.

This project was inspired about finding out about Day Zero- a campaign in South Africa designed to find solutions to their water shortage problem. The fact that they were successful in avoiding 'day zero' got me motivated to learn about other solutions to environmental issues. This project was important to me because I've always cared about environmental issues.

There are lots of roads to take when relating to film making as a career. I explored different mediums of film I haven't tried. I also tried different writing styles ending with one final film as my deliverable. I worked with the concept of a unique view of things, making everything a story. I hope to see this be an example of my work to kick start my career in film. I want to find a path that suits me well and I get to make things I am proud of in the end. I want people to know the name "Keys".

It's a piece of writing that I made. I recently finalized the project and my advisor suggested that I should submit it to this, so I did!

This video was my junior presentation. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and I wanted to research how it affects the body and what can be done to treat the disease. I used my treatment team, my doctors, and public research studies for information.

This is a project on the history of Dutchtown, a small but storied neighborhood in Stillwater

I created my own clothing with techniques such as machine sewing, thrift flipping, and using patterns. I created five pieces of clothing.

I did a U.S. history project about when people from the old world came to the new world. My deliverable for this project was a model of a boat that I learned about through my research.

Jewelry making has always interested me. Over the last year I have been collecting tools and honing my crafting skills to the point where I have so many unique pairs of earrings and necklaces that I didn’t know what to do with them all. I decided to learn how to build a business, how to make it profitable enough to support itself, and how to do all of this in a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly manner. Today I have GrayMoonArts, the culmination of months of curating my collection and learning photography skills and building a website from nothing.

For my grade level project, I built a tenor ukulele. I learned how to use the necessary tools for the wood work, how to come up with the measurements, and made the construction plans to actually build the instrument completely without a kit. It took about nine months to fully finish!

I have been working on woodburning for a year and making this board for our Student of the Block display was a chance to try my skills on a bigger scale than I had done in the past. It is entirely wood burned and it took as many hours as a grade level project. I’m hopefully going to pain a boarder on some 2x4s to add a bit of color but that will be another project.

I spent time throughout my senior year designing and building a small cabin for my Senior Project. I spent over 300 hours on this project.

My project is a research project about Frida Kahlo. It's about her art,and her story - I find her so fascinating and I love her style. I find her very inspiring and creative.

In my project, I talk about the British BBC sci-fi show Dr. Who. For my deliverable, I made a scale model of the TARDIS, The Doctor's (main character) time machine and a research paper.

How has clean water shaped the modern world? Few inventions have shaped the modern world as much as clean water. We rely on clean water for our daily lives. Yet, we rarely ask ourselves how clean water came to be? How did it change the very face of our world? Have we finally solved clean water? And what role has it played in the medical field? The goal of the project was to answer that.

This was a devliable I made for a project focused on rockets and colonizing mars, it is a rocket with a small engine in it, once it is at it highest altitude the nose cap comes off and a parachute comes out.

The project is about indigenous aboriginal people in Australia and focuses a lot on the impact of colonization, culture, and religion.

This is a deliverable of a project I did where I made a movie about my two cats Marty and Malcolm this is by no means a high budget film but it is still great

This slide presentation shows a timeline of my art process. Starting with the inspiration of my parents art, to the art I did before starting this project including realistic and anime styles. It then shows my beginning in exploration of realistic art, specifically in human face structures. The next slides show my work in my St.Kates PSEO drawing class and the work I did outside of class. The final piece was a way to bring in all I had learned. I took pictures around the Twin Cities at night with my friend Jiahong. I took those pictures and edited them together to create a singular reference. To up the challenge I decided to paint the final on a 4x4 ft canvas. The final slide is the result shown. I used gouache and acrylic paint.

This is a website that I created to show the history of the band Green Day and its members. The website includes details on how the band started and how it has affected society. I created this website as my deliverable for my project on Green Day.

My project examines and explores the different types of Powwow dancing as well as taking a closer look at Native traditions. I present multiple types of dancing, the history and differences of each dance.

Making macrons can be explained as both excruciatingly annoying or fun, and sometimes both.

This project began with my desire to change our state flag. The current flag is problematic because it contains racist imagery, is nearly identical to half of the US state flags and because visually it is unappealing. I created a new flag after research into design principals and into emblematic images of Minnesota. In this new flag, the blue represents the lakes and rivers of Minnesota, the green represents the forests and nature, the white represents the cold and snow of the state, and the star is the state's motto, which is "L'Etoile du Nord" which is French for "the North Star"

These are screenshots of the venue we have built for an online prom. While not yet complete, these give a fairly good idea of the final product. The event itself is scheduled for May 15; between now and then, more screenshots will likely be added to that folder. The "Buildings" subfolder has not been updated recently, but the "Progress Shots" (screenshots taken over the course of the project from the same positions and give an idea of how construction has progressed) are being updated fairly regularly and reach back to day 1.

This is my presentation on Japanese language and Culture. This project was originally started from my interest in going to Japan.

I created a website that goes into why Sputnik 1 was so important, why it deserves more credit then we give it, and what it is.

It has been a goal of mine for about a year now to build a computer. I decided to commit to it last November. I contacted a student studying computer science at Macalester college to support me and I built it within two months. I wrote a paper about my process, problems I ran into, and the parts of the computer.

I will get my pilots license, and give a presentation on the process.
