Luke is excited to be back for his second year as an Educational Assistant. He received his BA in Anthropology and Cultural Studies from the University of Minnesota - Duluth in 2006. He has since worked at various times as a painter/remodeler, PCA, substitute paraprofessional, woodworker, website builder, guitar pedal maker, Boundary Waters guide, and more recently built a business making canvas and leather outdoor gear. When not in school he loves to camp, fish, canoe, ski, hike and walk his dog as much as possible, and when not out enjoying the great outdoors he can be found behind the sewing machine making bags, reading a book, fixing the old house he lives in or relaxing with his wife, dog and cat. Luke is currently enrolled in the St. Thomas/St. Catherine School of Social Work, working towards a Master's in Clinical Social Work.
